Process Characteristics

Vacuum titanium plating employs the physical vapor deposition process (such as PVD). Through plasma discharge, titanium metal ions are deposited onto the surface of stainless steel, forming a dense coating. This process can create various textures on the stainless steel surface, such as mirror finish, brushed finish, and sandblasted finish, while also giving a colorful appearance like rose gold, champagne gold, and black titanium.
