The Satin surface is evenly distributed with short slender lines which finished by our oil Hairline production line, and the surface of the sheet is bright. Our standard Satin spec is 150#, we also do the 60#, 120#, 180#, 240#, 320# if customer request.
Generally, the basic material are 201, 304, 316L, 430, 441, 443, and the surface would shown nice metal bright after finish.
Our thickness range is 0.5mm to 3.0mm, and the standard size is 1219x2438mm and 1219x3048mm, what’s more, we could do the special width not more than 1500mm, and special length not more than 6000mm.
Black Satin Stainless Steel
Satin stainless steel is a type of finish that is applied to stainless steel surfaces to create a smooth, matte surface with a low level of reflectivity. The finish is created by using a mechanical process, such as polishing or brushing, to remove the surface of the stainless steel to create a uniform texture. The resulting finish has a duller appearance than a polished stainless steel finish, and it does not show fingerprints or smudges as easily.
It is also known as brush finish or dull finish which is achieved by using a wire brush on the surface to remove any mill marks, and then create a uniform surface.
This type of finish is commonly used in architectural and industrial design, particularly for cladding, panels, and elevator cabs. It is also used in consumer products like appliances, kitchenware, and handrails. The satin stainless steel finish is popular because it is durable, low maintenance, and it gives the material a sleek, modern look.
Satin surface is neat and beautiful which widely used into kinds of outside decoration of buildings and elevator decoration.
We could do many treatment on the satin surface such as etching, PVD and so on. The surface would be different and welcomed by customers.
Satin finish also could be done together with other artwork process like bead blasted, vibration, part PVD, part Mirror, etc.
